ALTUĞ BERKER:Master, as you have explained previously, Our Prophet (saas) foretells that hunger and poverty are the portents of the End Times, they are the portents of the appearance of the Prophet Jesus (pbuh) and Hazrat Mahdi (pbuh). In the hadiths our Prophet (saas) says; "The number of the poor will increase, hunger will be widespread and the cost of living will increase to the utmost." He says. "Hunger and the cost of living will increase and dissensions will escalate."

ADNAN OKTAR:Now, for instance, another wave of the economic crisis is coming. It will go on the rampant in Europe again, it will go on the rampant in America as well and it will of course have a partial impact on Turkey as well.  But since there is the system of the Mahdi in Turkey, Turkey has plenteousness of it. I mean the trouble is passing over Turkey, it does not touch it. Allah protects Turkey. But now this economic crisis will go on the rampant in Europe in the coming days, you will see. As people resist the Turkish-Islamic Union, this suffering, this sorrow will continue. The salvation is just at the door. If they say yes, the matter will be closed, this pain continues because they do not say "Yes". Allah waits for them to say "yes". When Allah says "Yes, come to an end!" the matter will be closed. And there will be this suffering on the contrary. Weapons.. when the production of weapons is halted worldwide, the world would become hundred times richer. There would be abundance and plenteousness in Africa, there will be no hungry and homeless left. Only by shutting down the armament industry, only by stopping the production of weapons, if only the money spent on that would be distributed to the poor and needy, if that money would be spent on their means, this would be fundamentally solved, there would be no such problem left.  The matter would be solved by that alone. I mean there would be no need to give out alms, the matter would be totally closed. And then think that people would be giving alms, they would be giving out for charity, that they would be giving out alms at the end of Ramadan, think about the cooperation, think about the plenteousness and abundance. But by halting the weapon industry alone and by making beneficial production instead of that, would cause an unprecedented richness. There will be not even one single hungry and homeless person left in the world. And everyone would become rich without exception. I mean let alone poverty, people would become rich. Everywhere would be gardens and vineyards and there would be a very beautiful environment. But they are insisting. As if war is something nice, as if fighting is something nice, as if tumult is something nice.. They are suffering for nothing. It is all at the tip of their tongues, if they were to say "I do accept the Unity of Islam and I want it," the matter would be done with.  Happiness, joy, abundance, goodness, beauty, art, aesthetics would enwrap all around. Democracy, freedom, everything..  But there is a time for that, Allah does not grant it because the time has not come yet as the people do not ask for it. We are heading fast towards that time. I mean 2020's will be the dates that this will be concluded. We will see this all together, we are living those altogether anyway, we will see that together as well. Insha'Allah.
