Liberty; Love, peace, brotherhood, goodness, mutual aid, friendship, good intentions, fear and love of Allah, love of beauty, honesty. Consideration, sincerity, science, art and esthetics are all lies at the heart of Islam. In Islam all things are beautiful.

There are no conflicts or hatred in Islam. There is no terror, turmoil, selfishness, self-interest, jealousy, gossip, malicious curiosity, backbiting, going to bed when ones neighbor is hungry, lies or extremism. There is nothing wrong in Islam.

The word 'Islam' means ‘peace’ in Arabic.

You who have iman! Enter Islam totally. Do not follow in the footsteps of Shaytan. He is an outright enemy to you. (Surat al-Baqara, 208)

Islam is a religion based on love and affection. The Qur’an teaches a conception of love that stems from faith and establishes a profound effect on the soul. The conception of love in the Qur’an is based on feelings of altruism, courage, love and protection. For that reason, Islam calls people to peace and encourages a life style based on total honesty and sincerity toward Allah. Therefore, in order for everyone to be able to sincerely live by Islam it is very important for them to accept and obey Allah’s commands and rules in the light of their own consciences.

There is no compulsion in the deen. (Surat al-Baqara, 256)

Nobody can be compelled to live by Islamic moral values. Believers have a responsibility to tell people of the existence of Allah and of the moral values of the Qur’an. Muslims who wish to discharge this responsibility tell people of Islam to guide them to happiness. They obey Allah’s commandment to “command what is good and forbid what is bad,” and summon people to the path of Allah in all sincerity. However, they cannot employ coercion in discharging that responsibility.

The Qur’an provides a free environment in which people can enjoy full freedom of thought and religion.

Therefore, Muslims treat Jews and Christians, referred to as the “People of the Book” in the Qur’an with love, affection and justice.

Allah does not forbid you from being good to those who have not fought you in the deen or driven you from your homes, or from being just towards them. Allah loves those who are just. (Surat al-Mumtahanah, 8)

As a requirement of their faith, Muslims believe they must wage an intellectual struggle together with Jews and Christians, who share the same values as them, against irreligion and radicalism. Muslims work together with Christians and Jews to spread moral virtues across the world and base that activity on love, respect, understanding, harmony and collaboration.

Allah reveals in the Qur’an that He creates people as communities with different faiths and views, and that Muslims must therefore accept people who hold different opinions with love and goodness. This is the model that Allah regards as proper for human beings:

Had Allah willed, He would have made you a single community, but He wanted to test you regarding what has come to you. So compete with each other in doing well. Every one of you will return to Allah and He will inform you regarding the things about which you differed. (Surat al-Ma’ida, 48)

Therefore, Muslims regard people of all faiths, races and nations as manifestations of Allah in this world and feel a profound love and affection for them.

The most important feature of a society in which peace is established is at the same time the establishment of security. There can be no climate of peace without security. In that regard, Islam establishes the precondition for peace, the only way of establishing security is to “enter Islam,” to live by the moral values of the Qur’an.

You who have iman! Enter Islam totally. Do not follow in the footsteps of Shaytan. He is an outright enemy to you.  (Surat al-Baqara, 208)

According to the Qur’an, a Muslim has a responsibility to treat everyone, Muslim or not, and even atheists, pleasantly and affectionately. Helping the needy, protecting the weak and preventing the spread of corruption are all tasks befalling a Muslim. Corruption means all forms of acts of anarchy and terror that do away with security, peace and tranquility of mind. Allah does not love corruption. (Surat al-Baqara, 205)
