• I say that the Day of Reckoning is imminent, that Hazrat Mahdi (as) will appear. And we have heard this from people who went before. This appears in ancient religions. References to the way of the Mahdi in ancient religions and texts are a proof, it is true. If it appears in ancient, corrupted true religions, if it is everywhere, then it must be true. Since it is mentioned wherever one goes, then it must be true.

• There is but one project, and that is Turkish-Islamic Union. And that is a law, not a project. The law of Allah will come about. For example, it is night now, and morning will follow, won’t it? In the same way, the dawn of Allah’s law will break. The Turkish Army will of course do its duty. Islamic moral values will rule the world and the Turkish Army will discharge its historic duty. Justice and security will be built on our army’s shoulders. We will not let a hair on our army’s head be harmed.
