What He Said?What Happened?

That the Fethullah Gulen community is not part of a deep state organization is a matter explained by Mr. Adnan Oktar. Mr. Huseyin Celik made a similar explanation on a TV channel.

ADNAN OKTAR: The deep state was seeking to destroy the AK party. I don't think something like that happened. I don't think that deep state exists anymore. Before, there was a deep state but it was destroyed. Neither the AK party nor the community of Fethullah hodja has a deep state connection. There is no such thing. I am making such a claim. It can be examined in detail. No one could reach such evidence. There is no such thing. This is only a guess.

In Turkey, the deep state is finished.  The deep state was the Ergenekon terror organization and it is gone now. It is seen from their statements that they are destroyed.

(Huseyin Gulerce stated that the Prime Minister must not make hasty decisions about the recent incidents.)

ADNAN OKTAR: Tayyip hodja is not saying, “The Gulen community did this.” No one is saying, “The community did it.” It seems like the joint work of foreign intelligence agencies. But I’m not talking about this operation. There is nothing in this operation, because if there is a guilty party he or she must be punished. If not, they can be acquitted. Everyone would be pleased. I think that other slandering incidents are being done specially. The community would not be involved in such dark and dirty matters. Their faith and personalities don't allow it.

But it is very strange. There is a sinister hand moving around: It can be seen.

Cumhuriyet: December 26th, 2013

Mr. Huseyin Celik made a statement about the claims that the Gulen community has taken over the state:

“For years we have lived with this paranoia. How could a person take over something that belongs to him already? Are there leftist and rightist people working in the state? How do they employ civil servants? [With the] KPSS (civil servant selection test) exam. If these people have not committed  any disgraceful offenses or if they don't have any obstacles, we can’t assign them using other means. Let’s leave this paranoia aside.”
