I have been talking about it for months and years. But there are excesses in both directions. “Christians will go to paradise,” someone says. What are you saying? There is no need to be a Muslim. But you are ruining people. How can you say that? If you tell a Christian he will go to paradise, you are telling him to persist in polytheism. You will ruin people. Allah says that the earth and sky will come tumbling down because of these words. That is how important it is. Is it possible for someone of good conscience to deny our Prophet (saas) as a prophet? Even a five-year-old child reading the Qur’an can see it is a true book. Why are you ruining people. Tell them, if you want to be a true follower of Jesus then you must also follow Muhammad, and they will be redeemed.

Take the Jews. When I talk with leading Jews, they say the Qur’an is obviously a true book. The prophet is obviously a true prophet. One would have to be devoid of conscience to say anything else. Allah says you can be Muslims if you recognize all prophets. A Jew must recognize all the divine books in order to be a Muslim. He must recognize all the true prophets, Abraham (pbuh), Ishmael (pbuh), Jacob (pbuh) and all of them. Omit just one, and no religion or faith remains. One is a complete Muslim when one recognizes our Prophet (pbuh).

I read the Torah, but it is very difficult, may Allah forbid. Much of it is true. It contains much true and fine information that eases the heart. But how much is revelation? It is very complex. Is that acceptable? Thanks be to Allah, I have extracted the true parts and made a book of the Torah. A very fine book has emerged. But how could the public do that? How to differentiate? It is very difficult. But when you pick up the Qur’an it is pure revelation, and you can trust every bit of it. But we open the Torah and it takes me at least five months to understand the hereafter. Good luck to anyone who can work it out. But in the Qur’an, paradise and hell and everything are perfectly clear. The food and drink in paradise, the characteristics of hell, it is all totally clear. The Qur’an described everything, down to how one gets in, and the gates. No confusion arises. How can a child find his belief in the hereafter in the Torah? Indeed, many Jews do not believe in the hereafter. “There is no hereafter,” they say, may Allah forbid. When they deny the hereafter, people have no more religion.

(About the Vatican searching for a solution to the lack of interest in the Church among Italians by deciding to produce Ten Commandments about Christianity and discussing these in open forums)

Then they will bring Darwinist-materialists together in the Vatican so they can propagandize their immorality. They will make a statement about that. They will throw anyone who says “Allah exists” out of the room. I don’t know, something very odd is going on. How can people listen to you if you say, “There is no Allah, the universe came about by chance”? Did you not bring together vast numbers of godless, bookless people in the Vatican? Yes, you did. And you propagandized godlessness. Then you published a final statement, using Christians’ money, saying, “Allah does not exist.” And you have made supporting Darwinism one of the commandments. Darwinism is advocated compulsorily in all Catholic churches. In all Catholic churches, in the same way it is imposed in universities here. Teaching Darwinism is commanded by the Church in Spain. Poland, America and Great Britain. You see the power of the antichrist here? But I shall continue to snap off the antichrist’s horns. I am snapping them off. [My student] Oktar went along and they threw him out for making a fuss. They say, “We shall be talking from the Gospel.” But how can people listen if you deny Allah?

(In response to a viewer who asks, “Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) wanted the Prophet Moses (pbuh) to ask him nothing, if he wanted to follow him, until all was revealed. Why did he want that?”)

The training of the spiritual guide is emphasized here. The Qur’an is telling us how to behave in the presence of the Mahdi. That is one aspect of the wisdom behind this tale.

(In response to the question, “Could Hazrat Khidr (pbuh) not have given a partial explanation when the Prophet Moses (pbuh) asked about something he did not understand?”)

No. He has to be patient. This is emphasized as the training of the spiritual guide. For example, I am speaking here. But someone fails to understand part of what I say. He tells me to explain them. I cannot explain them now. But I may do so in 10 years’ time. Or in five years’ time. If I explain to him, he will talk about it to right and left. That is no good. The Qur’an is showing how a disciple must behave toward his spiritual teacher. How we should behave toward Jesus the Messiah (pbuh). How we are to be disciples of the Mahdi. One aspect of the story is to set out that behavior.

For example, someone says, why do you drink lemonade out of a glass? There is wisdom in that. Because otherwise, a Muslim will spend his life longing to hold a glass in his hands. I am eliminating that longing. They have branded the glass as something pertaining to unbelief. I am lifting that branding. I am showing that it is lawful and beautiful, and am emphasizing that all beautiful things belong to Muslims. To enter into a bit more detail, I am demonstrating the good taste of Islam. To enter into even more detail than that, I am showing a visual esthetic. And my own visual esthetic. Because Allah creates this glass for me. All brings it to the table. He makes us His instruments.

(Regarding verse 31 of Surat an-Nur)

Do you know what the bigots say when they hear verse 31 of Surat an-Nur? “If that is what Allah says, if that is His commandment, then I am not a Muslim.”

In the name of Allah the Compassionate and Merciful. Say to the believing women that they should lower their eyes and guard their private parts,” they must not enter into illicit sexual relations. and not display their adornments – except for what normally shows.” Apart from the parts that are naturally visible. “and draw their head-coverings across their breasts.” Now, let us remove the word head. Because there is no such expression. The word head does not appear [in the Arabic].  If you say it does, then you are behaving shamefully and sinning. Women with their chests uncovered must cover them up. They must draw their covering across them. They should only display their adornments to their husbands or their fathers or their husbands’ fathers, or their sons or their husbands’ sons or their brothers or their brothers’ sons or their sisters’ sons or other women or those they own as slaves or their male attendants who have no sexual desire,” who have no sexual desire. or children who still have no awareness of women’s private parts...” of women’s sexual organs. Do you accept this verse? No. But if you obey the Qur’an, you will live clean and excellent lives. May Allah bring you to your senses.

(In response to a viewer who asks, “Do our souls grow with faith? Or with our bodies?”)

The truth is that the soul is created in the Presence of Allah, but we have the impression that it develops. Otherwise, all power and might lies in the hands of Allah. And of course the soul has nothing to do with the body.
