In its 5 March, 2007, edition the well-established Danish daily Kristeligt Dagblad reported the views of geologist Jens Morten Hansen, a professor at the Center for the Philosophy of Nature and Science Studies, on the subject of Atlas of Creation:
“… I received a book weighing around 10 kilos from a publisher in Istanbul. This was a book about natural sciences called ‘Atlas of Creation,’ and dealt with the theory of evolution’s ‘swindles’ in fossils. Natural sciences and geology in particular had turned human beings into materialists, the result being the emergence of Nazis, communists and terrorists.
… This ‘terrifying link’ between Western natural sciences and terrorism, illustrated with images of gassed Jews and heroic Palestinians, and on the other hand Western-looking skinheads and the attack on the Twin Towers etc., could be seen all over the world.
On the other hand, we can understand that the true teachings of Islam recommend and impose peace, tolerance, freedom of expression and humanity… We see from this same tremendous book that there are 18 other ‘natural-science critical’ books, wide-ranging and translated into more than 22 languages. …”2007-09-30 03:03:29
