Surat al-Kahf,
28- Restrain yourself patiently with those who call on their Lord morning and evening,
I also call on Allah day and night; desiring solely the approval of Allah, not money or gain or self-interest. Why? Desiring solely the maximum of Allah’s approval. Be patient, together with those who establish connections with Allah, who pray to Allah, who ask Allah for beautiful things. In other words, be determined and continue. Let there be no change or weariness, may Allah forbid. Or let there be no falling into pessimism or weakness. Let there be no slackening or lack of enthusiasm. But strive ever harder.
“Do not turn your eyes from them, desiring the attractions of this world.”
“The attractions of this world,” empty activities. Engaging in empty activities and stopping this good work. You must always look for good things, the truth.
“And do not obey someone whose heart We have made neglectful of Our remembrance...”
People think constantly of Allah in their hearts. If they do not think of Allah in their hearts, it means they are heedless and neglectful. If they think of Allah they will be saved from heedlessness, it means.
“…and who follows his own whims and desires…”
Whose sole aim is their own interests, who follow only their own desires, whose only aims are worldly ones,
“…and whose life has transgressed all bounds.”
Who do not act in conformity with the moral values of the Qur’an and the Sunnah; fanatics and bigots are like that, as well as Darwinists and materialists, and Allah tells us not to obey them.
The Mahdi’s (as) knowledge comes from the mind of Allah. Allah will raise him; he will not graduate from a madrassah. He will not be bound to any scholar and he will not be a graduate from any university. And this is highly significant. Our Prophet (saas) says he will not be bound to any sheikh. He will not be taught by any scholar, he says. He says he will not know Arabic. But he will have knowledge from the mind of Allah. Allah will give him an angel to help him; he will make wise and very profound statements. Wisdom will pour from that blessed one’s mouth. And we are his followers and will strive to be like him, insha’Allah.

Let whoever hears the dajjal has appeared, distance himself from him. I SWEAR TO ALLAH THAT SOMEONE THINKING HIMSELF TO BE A BELIEVER WILL GO TO HIM AND FOLLOW HIM THROUGH DOUBTS INSPIRED BY THE DAJJAL. (Imam Ahmad. Abu Dawud. Hakim; The Messiah Dajjal, the Great Corruption, Saim Gungor, p. 99) |
