ADNAN OKTAR: "You were against the concept of interfaith dialogues before, what happened now that you've become a part of the propaganda of Christianity they call the interfaith dialogues?" Interfaith dialogues.. Well, a Christian may come by and you listen to him, you have him as your guest, you converse, he talks to you and you talk to him. And that is a dialogue, so you talk. But why is there the need to call that a dialogue? I do not like that word; dialogue. You have discourses, you talk, you become friends with him,  right? You show compassion, you establish connections, you listen to his ideas and you tell him your ideas. He tells you about Christianity and you tell him about Islam; let him talk, that is nice. You can talk about the beautiful aspects of Islam and you tell him about the aspects Islam is in harmony with Christianity. We resolve upon striving against irreligiousness, we talk and say "Let us agree on the Oneness of Allah" and say; "let us agree on love for the Prophets", we say; "let us agree on belief in the Hereafter, in struggling against Darwinism and materialism." We say; "Let us act in coalescence, let us unite". Okay, there is no need to use the word "dialogue". There is nothing wrong in this, yet it is something very favorable. And that is determined by the verses of the Qur'an. In the Qur'an Allah says "Only argue with the People of the Book in the kindest way" to us. ".. in the kindest way" What is this? That is dialogue, talking; that is the obvious meaning of the verse. Allah wants us to talk to them, to converse with them, to treat them nicely. Allah tells us that we can marry them. We can have their women as our lawfully wedded wives. We can go to their dinners, we can organize dinners, we can invite them to our dinners, they can come to our houses, we can go to theirs. Making friends with them, Allah says that in the Qur'an. We can unite in "Allah is One". Allah says in the Qur'an that we should tell them that Allah is One, so we tell them that. Allah tells us to unite in that. We act in coalescence against unbelief, that is because we consider the People of the Book as our allies against unbelief, against Godlessness. There is nothing wrong in that. Those who give a struggle against this, are acting irrational, they are acting against the Qur'an.  And that has no meaning. What they aim is uncertain anyway. Furthermore Christianity is not a threat. Christianity is not such a strong movement of belief, Christianity is very weak.  That is the reason why Europe is in such a wretched situation. No one wants to become Christian, churches are constantly becoming vacant and are being closed. That means Christianity is not such an active, vibrant, strong religion. But Islam is strong, teachings are rational and reasonable. Consequently there is no logic in keeping clear of Christianity. There are sometimes some bone headed types, they are suspicious about everything, they have doubts about everything; now they are employing a policy of hatred thinking that if Christians are given freedom, Muslims will be given freedom as well. Those who hate Christianity

would hate Islam and Judaism as well. They come to feeling love only to communism. They employ that as a step to attack Islam, as the first step. Why should we be enemies to a Christian? They are the People of the Book. In the Qur'an Allah says; [I seek refuge with Allah from the satan] "You will find the people most affectionate to those who have iman are those who say, 'We are Christians'." That is a verse of the Qur'an.
