An Important Reminder

In the absence of the moral virtues, respect, love, friendship and solidarity revealed in the Qur’an, the spiritual troubles caused by the failure to abide by the religious morality will dominate society. Members of a society in which there is no love or fear of Allah show one another no respect, love, affection or compassion. On the contrary, they concentrate on their own self-interest and attach no importance to other people. Indeed, it is obvious that a decrease in human values has already begun in societies that live distanced from the moral values of the faith. Some examples of this state of affairs are the failure to help someone one sees being taken ill in the street, people’s failure to be pleasant to one another at work, people sulking even when they meet up to enjoy themselves, the absence of pleasant conversation, the inability to establish warm human relationships, people failing to display a friendly attitude even when meeting a close friend, their inability to tolerate one another, and their living with a depressed and unhappy state of mind. It is impossible for people who think only of resolving their own affairs and satisfying their own worldly interests, without considering any human value, to improve themselves in good manners. However, a great many people do not even wonder about the origin of this unhappiness. That is a sign that the people in question do not reflect as they ought but behave entirely automatically. This closed consciousness leads people to be susceptible to all kinds of negative indoctrination. Most people go along with the indoctrination to which they are subjected without ever wondering whether it is true or not.

That is the reason why, until very recently, Darwinism was accepted by large numbers of people with no objections. Despite being a groundless theory that is unsupported by any scientific evidence and contains huge logical inconsistencies, Darwinism was regarded even by some believers as a theory that could not be denied. Practically no intellectual struggle was waged against materialism and atheism, and defeat was accepted right from the outset. The fact is, however, that victory over Darwinism is inescapable through a scientific, rational and determined intellectual struggle. Indeed, Darwinism has been demolished thanks to the determined intellectual struggle waged by Harun Yahya for the last 20 years.

The closed consciousness in question can be eradicated and people can become enthusiastic, excited, mild-mannered, friendly, pleasant to converse with, loyal and altruistic by living according to religious moral values. Sharpness of conscience and consciousness prevails in environments where people adhere to the moral values of the Qur’an. Allah bestows good manners and virtues and a peaceful life on those who truly believe in Him, who fear and love Him as they ought, and who feel a deep respect for our Lord.
